King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) launched the Aeronautical Engineering and Commercial Pilot program for the first time in Thailand after having participated in the Thai Aerospace Engineering Network in 2014. This is with the aim of developing the Thai Aeronautical Engineering expertise for qualified pilots in Thailand.
In order to materialize this goal, International Academy of Aviation Industry (IAAI) was born in 2016 to support the emerging aviation education program in fulfilling the needs for professions in global aviation industry.
Currently, the academy is offering three (3) undergraduate programs. These are Bachelor of Engineering in Aeronautical Engineering and Commercial Pilot, Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Logistics Management.
In addition to the degree programs, IAAI has gained approval from the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) as an Aviation English Test Center. IAAI also has built a strong partnership with EALTS, an internationally recognized test of English for Aviation which is recognized by the British Civil Aviation Authority.
