Our Overseas Training program is an Education Platform designed to immerse students in the world’s most advanced logistics hubs. By bridging classroom theory with international best practices, we ensure our graduates are ready to compete on the global stage.

Program Highlights

🌐 Professional Immersion: Beyond Borders Experience learning without limits. We offer an intensive 1-semester overseas training residency during Year 4, Semester 1. Gain firsthand exposure at:

  • Singapore: Temasek Polytechnic (The Gateway to Global Trade and Aviation Logistics)

1.Program Duration (Flexible)

The program offers a flexible duration within a single semester to better align with the differing academic calendars of partner institutions:

  • Flexible Intake: The internship period can be adjusted based on the student’s home university schedule.
  • Structure: Focuses on practical project-based learning and professional development.

2.Financial Assistance & Fees

  • KMITL Financial Support: Partial financial support is provided by KMITL; however, availability and specific details are subject to change and will be updated yearly.
  • Tuition & Fees: The tuition and program fees at Temasek Polytechnic are waived for participating students under this agreement.

3.Accommodation

  • On-Campus Housing: TP aims to provide on-campus accommodation for international students. Please note that housing is subject to availability and the status will be updated on a yearly basis. Students should confirm availability during their application cycle.

4.Focus Areas

Students will be placed within the Department of Aviation Management, working on specialized projects such as:

  • Air Cargo Operations: Logistics, handling, and management within the air freight industry.
  • Air Transportation: Airline and airport operations, safety protocols, and management.
  • Other Related Fields

5.Eligibility & Requirements

  • Status: Exclusively open to students currently enrolled at KMITL (as a partner institution).
  • English Proficiency: High level of English communication is required for technical project collaboration.
  • Required Documents: CV/Resume, Official Transcript, Research or Project Interest, and Passport copy.
  • Taiwan: National Formosa University (The Hub of Smart Manufacturing & Tech-Logistics)

1.Program Duration (Flexible)

The program offers a flexible duration within one semester to accommodate overlapping academic calendars:

  • Spring Intake: Starting from February onwards.
  • Fall Intake: Starting from September onwards.
  • Course Load: A total of 18 credits (approx. 22 hours/week), featuring a Lab Research Project (9 credits), three elective courses (9 credits), and Basic Chinese language lessons.

2.Costs and Scholarships

  • Tuition Fees: Standard tuition is 36,000 NTD per semester. However, Full Tuition Waivers are available for students from NFU’s partner universities.
  • Scholarship: Starting from 2026, students may receive a monthly stipend of 8,000 to 12,000 NTD (up to a maximum of 60,000 NTD per semester) for at least 50 selected students per semester.

3.Accommodation (Dormitories)

  • Students can apply for on-campus housing during the online application process.
  • Options: Choices include “New Dorm,” “Older Dorm,” or students may choose to arrange their own off-campus housing.
